The Fall and Rise of Manhandla.

The NES version of Manhandla always was one of my favourite Zelda bosses, It just looked menacing as hell. I depicted it in the Manji Dungeon in the first playthrough simply because the sand looked cooler to me then the standard floor of the second playthrough.

These days when people draw it they make it this weird plant thingy and I'm like "Dude, that's is so NOT how I saw it as a kid." I blame the Oracle games for that because there Manhandla is this weird plant like thing...something Nintendo uses way too much lately in their Zelda games.

I always loved the ancient ruinic robotic mechanized steel guardian creature that I saw in it. This is an ode to that, Link is long gone, he fought Manhandla, got the triforce part and left. Since then nature took over, what was left of the Dungeon is falling apart and Manhandla is about to come back...in its stupid plant form. OTL
